The Journal of Christian Teaching Practice is seeking reviewers for the following books. Reviews published in JCTP are generally no more than 1500 words. - Christian Academic Writing: Twelve Principles and Practices for Becoming a Successful Writer — If you’ve recently earned your terminal degree and would like some Christian guidance/inspiration for writing and publishing, this is an ideal book to review (while getting a publication on your CV!).
- Habits of Hope: Educational Practices for a Weary World — Good choice for anyone interested in helping themselves and others cope with the current challenges of working in higher ed
- The Flourishing Teacher: Vocational Renewal for a Sacred Profession — Since this book speaks especially (though not exclusively) to the needs of female faculty, we are seeking a female reviewer for this one.
- Cultivating Mentors: Sharing Wisdom in Christian Higher Education — We’re seeking a senior faculty member or administrator to do this review.
