Terry Lindvall (MDiv Fuller Seminary, PhD, USC) occupies the C. S. Lewis Chair of Communication and Christian Thought at Virginia Wesleyan University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He began teaching at Azusa Pacific University and has taught at Duke University School of Divinity, Regent University, Wheaton College, and was a Mason Fellow at the College of William and Mary. He authored fifteen books including God Mocks: A History of Religious Satire (New York University Press), Divine Film Comedies (Routledge Press), and God on the Big Screen (NYU Press) which was adapted for the film Hollywood, Teach Us to Pray. He is married to Karen, a musician, and they have two children, Chris, a comedy script writer in LA and Caroline and her husband Cary Joseph, both Middle School. English teachers, with one grandchild, Joy Joseph.
