Prayer for Clear Communication
Oh, gracious Lord, we come to You today inspired by the wisdom of Proverbs 15:2, which says that the tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness. We humbly seek Your divine guidance in improving our communication, that we may speak with kindness and truth. May our conversations be free from deliberate hypocrisy, unwholesome talk, and speaking curses.
We pray for an abundance in clear and fruitful interactions with others – in our families, workplaces, communities, and even with strangers. Strengthen our ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully to avoid misunderstandings.
Incline our hearts to sincere and healthy expression of faith through good communication. Bestow upon us a spirit of right standing with You so that we may turn harmony into a reality in conversation.
Teach us to appreciate Your gifts of speech and language so that we may spend time discussing meaningful topics that edify all those present. Above all else, let us give thanks as we share love and life-affirming messages through the power of our words.
