Assistant/Associate Professor of Communication at Charleston Southern University
Charleston Southern University invites applications for two faculty positions (Assistant or Associate Professors) in the Department of Communication beginning August 1, 2018. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
Responsibilities: These positions require teaching a range of communication courses, depending on area of expertise, such as Public Relations, Journalism, Broadcasting, Digital Media Production, or additional areas in the profession of communication. They will help to shape a growing program with an expanding curriculum. Faculty members are also called upon to participate in academic advising, serve on committees and engage in service and scholarly activities.
