Father, thank you for our gift of communication, even though it can be hard to use your gift wisely. Forgive me for when I have felt tension in a relationship and attacked or criticized the other person. I pray for wisdom and insight on how to experience tension in relationships but not damage the relationship with the way I communicate the tension. Help me love the people around me with my words no matter what we agree or disagree on. Thank you for hearing my prayers. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
